From the Editor

Abstract

Dear readers,

it is my pleasure to present you the 2nd number of the 43rd volume of the Journal of Information and Organizational Sciences - JIOS. In this number we proudly present six original scientific papers. These papers cover wide-range of topics related to the field of information and organizational sciences, as well as relevant contributions from related scientific disciplines. Three of the papers touch upon the issues of information systems from various perspectives: information systems security, digital competences in education systems and job scheduling in a high performance computing systems. Other papers tackle the issues of intellectual capital, the dynamicity of consumer knowledge and software languages development. You are invited to share your thoughts regarding the papers in the JIOS. We hope that the variety of topics will draw the attention of researchers in various fields of information sciences and motivate potential authors to submit their research papers in JIOS. We would also like to encourage our readers to become reviewers for papers submitted to JIOS and thus actively contribute to raising the quality of our Journal.
